The Gambian intelligence agency has arrested a Belgian resident of
Banjul on suspicion of importing a large container-load of weapons,
police said Saturday.

Bruno Jensen was arrested early this week by the National Intelligence Agency following a tip-off.

A search of Jensen's house turned up two pistols and some pornographic
material, police said, adding that the Belgian was released on bail but
must report daily to the NIA as the investigation proceeds.
